YOUNIKA BEAUTY

RETURN, REFUND, CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING & CLIENT SATISFACTION POLICY

Beauty & Wellness | Just For You

Effective Date: October 15, 2026

1. POLICY PURPOSE AND SCOPE

Younika Beauty is committed to maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, service quality, client satisfaction, hygiene, and operational integrity.

This policy establishes the terms and conditions governing all service appointments, product purchases, deposits, cancellations, rescheduling requests, late arrivals, missed appointments, service disputes, and credit eligibility.

The purpose of this policy is to promote transparency, protect reserved appointment times, maintain consistent business practices, and establish a fair process for addressing legitimate client concerns.

These terms apply to all clients who schedule appointments, receive services, purchase merchandise, or conduct transactions with Younika Beauty through its website, authorized booking platforms, or other approved communication and payment channels.

All clients are responsible for reviewing and understanding the applicable terms before confirming a reservation or completing a purchase.

All provisions remain subject to applicable federal, New York State, and local consumer protection laws.

2. STRICT NO-REFUND POLICY

Younika Beauty maintains a strict no-refund policy for completed services and purchased products, except where a refund is required by applicable law.

All completed services and finalized product purchases are considered final.

Monetary refunds will not be provided solely because of changes in personal preference, dissatisfaction with a previously approved service selection, changes in individual circumstances, or decisions made after the completion of a transaction.

Clients are encouraged to communicate their expectations, preferences, and concerns before the commencement of any service or completion of a purchase.

Younika Beauty reserves the right to review legitimate concerns and determine whether a corrective service, service credit, store credit, or other appropriate resolution may be offered.

The issuance of any discretionary credit or adjustment is subject to verification, eligibility, and management approval.

No provision of this policy excludes or limits a client's rights to remedies required by law.

3. PRODUCT SALES AND NO-RETURN POLICY

For reasons involving hygiene, sanitation, product integrity, consumer safety, and the personal nature of beauty and wellness merchandise, Younika Beauty maintains a strict no-return policy for products sold, to the extent permitted by law.

All merchandise purchases are considered final once the transaction has been completed.

Products are not eligible for voluntary returns, exchanges, or monetary refunds based on changes in preference, personal suitability, purchasing decisions, or dissatisfaction unrelated to a verified product issue.

Products that have been opened, used, installed, altered, damaged after delivery, or otherwise compromised are not eligible for voluntary returns or exchanges.

Unopened products are also subject to the final-sale policy unless an exception is expressly approved or required by applicable law.

Clients are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, intended uses, ingredients, quantities, specifications, and other relevant information before completing a purchase.

Younika Beauty may review claims concerning damaged, defective, incorrect, or otherwise nonconforming merchandise.

Such claims may require proof of purchase, supporting documentation, photographs, and reasonable verification of the reported condition.

Following review, Younika Beauty may approve a replacement, store credit, or another appropriate resolution.

Store credit may be offered as a discretionary accommodation but will not replace any refund, warranty remedy, or other legal entitlement that must be provided under applicable law.

4. APPOINTMENT RESERVATIONS AND DEPOSIT REQUIREMENTS

Younika Beauty operates primarily through scheduled appointments to provide each client with adequate time, professional attention, and individualized service preparation.

A deposit may be required to secure an appointment.

Deposits serve as a financial commitment to the reservation and compensate for the allocation of appointment availability and administrative preparation.

An appointment is considered confirmed only after all applicable booking requirements have been satisfied and confirmation has been issued by Younika Beauty or its authorized booking platform.

All required deposits will be applied toward the total cost of the scheduled service.

Deposits are generally nonrefundable, except where required by law or expressly authorized by Younika Beauty.

Deposits are associated with the original client and reservation and may not be transferred to another individual without prior written approval.

A deposit may be transferred toward a rescheduled service when the client complies with the established rescheduling requirements.

Failure to comply with those requirements may result in forfeiture of the deposit in accordance with the terms disclosed at the time of booking.

Younika Beauty reserves the right to require a new deposit when a previous reservation has been canceled, forfeited, or otherwise invalidated under the applicable booking terms.

5. RESCHEDULING POLICY

Clients may request to reschedule an appointment by providing a minimum of twenty-four (24) hours' advance notice before the confirmed appointment start time.

When a rescheduling request is received within the required notice period, the original deposit will be transferred and applied toward the rescheduled service.

Deposit transfers are subject to the following conditions:

  • The rescheduling request must be submitted at least twenty-four (24) hours before the original appointment.

  • The new appointment must be confirmed through an authorized booking channel.

  • The rescheduled appointment is subject to service availability.

  • The original deposit will be credited toward the confirmed rescheduled service.

  • Any additional service charges or price differences remain the client's responsibility.

  • Changes involving a different service category, duration, or service requirements may require additional approval.

Requests received less than twenty-four (24) hours before the scheduled appointment are considered late rescheduling requests.

Late rescheduling requests do not automatically qualify for deposit transfers.

The original deposit may be forfeited, and a new deposit may be required to secure another appointment.

Younika Beauty may approve an exception at its discretion when circumstances reasonably justify special consideration.

A rescheduling request does not become effective until the client receives confirmation.

6. APPOINTMENT CANCELLATION POLICY

Clients are responsible for providing timely notice when they are unable to attend a confirmed appointment.

Cancellation requests must be communicated through an approved contact or booking method.

Clients who provide at least twenty-four (24) hours' notice may request to transfer their existing deposit toward a future appointment, subject to the rescheduling policy.

Deposits are not automatically refundable following cancellation.

Cancellations received less than twenty-four (24) hours before the confirmed appointment may result in forfeiture of the original deposit.

Any additional cancellation charges must have been clearly disclosed and appropriately authorized before the appointment was confirmed.

Younika Beauty reserves the right to restrict future reservations or require additional booking conditions following repeated cancellations or documented violations of appointment policies.

When Younika Beauty cancels an appointment and cannot provide the agreed service, the client will be offered an appropriate rescheduling arrangement or a refund of the unused payment as required by the circumstances and applicable law.

7. STRICT NO-SHOW POLICY

A no-show occurs when a client fails to attend a confirmed appointment without obtaining an approved cancellation or rescheduling confirmation.

Younika Beauty maintains a strict no-show policy to protect reserved service time, staffing commitments, scheduling availability, and operational resources.

A no-show fee equivalent to fifty percent (50%) of the total confirmed service price will apply to missed appointments.

The fee will be calculated using the agreed service price associated with the confirmed reservation.

Any deposit retained for the missed appointment will be credited toward the fifty percent (50%) no-show fee.

The client will not be charged twice for the same portion of the fee.

Where a remaining balance is due, Younika Beauty may charge the client's authorized payment method on file in accordance with the payment authorization obtained during booking.

Payment methods will not be charged without appropriate authorization.

Clients are responsible for ensuring that their payment information remains accurate and that any authorized outstanding balance is resolved.

Unpaid no-show fees may result in restrictions on future appointment reservations until the balance has been addressed.

Repeated no-shows may result in additional booking requirements, advance-payment conditions, or refusal of future discretionary reservations, subject to applicable law.

8. LATE ARRIVAL AND GRACE PERIOD POLICY

Younika Beauty requires clients to arrive punctually for all scheduled appointments.

A fifteen (15) minute grace period is provided to accommodate minor, unexpected delays.

The grace period begins at the confirmed appointment start time.

Clients arriving within the permitted grace period may receive their scheduled service, provided sufficient time remains to complete the service without compromising professional standards or subsequent appointments.

Clients arriving more than fifteen (15) minutes late will be required to reschedule.

Appointments will not be extended beyond their allocated time when doing so would interfere with other reservations or compromise service quality.

A late arrival exceeding the permitted grace period may result in forfeiture of the original deposit.

A new deposit may be required to secure another appointment.

Any applicable missed-appointment charge must comply with the fee terms disclosed and authorized during the original booking.

Clients are expected to notify Younika Beauty promptly when they anticipate a delay.

Notification of a late arrival does not guarantee that the original appointment can be maintained.

9. SERVICE DISPUTES AND COMPLAINT SUBMISSION

Younika Beauty is committed to addressing legitimate service concerns through a professional, documented, and impartial review process.

All requests for voluntary service corrections, adjustments, or credits must be submitted within forty-eight (48) hours following completion of the service.

The forty-eight (48) hour reporting period begins at the conclusion of the appointment.

Clients are responsible for notifying Younika Beauty directly within the established timeframe.

All complaints must be submitted in a respectful manner and contain sufficient information to allow a reasonable assessment.

Younika Beauty may require the following information:

  • Client identification and contact details

  • Appointment date and service description

  • A clear explanation of the reported concern

  • Relevant supporting photographs or documentation

  • Information concerning subsequent maintenance, alterations, or treatments

  • Additional details reasonably necessary to complete the review

Submitting a complaint does not automatically establish eligibility for a correction, credit, or other accommodation.

Each claim will be evaluated according to the agreed service, available evidence, professional standards, and relevant circumstances.

Claims received after the forty-eight (48) hour reporting period may be declined for purposes of the voluntary satisfaction and credit program.

This reporting deadline does not restrict any statutory warranty, consumer protection right, payment dispute right, or other legally protected remedy.

10. SERVICE REVIEW AND CLAIM VALIDATION

Younika Beauty reserves the right to conduct a reasonable assessment of any reported service concern before approving a discretionary adjustment or credit.

The review process may include examination of the original booking details, consultation records, service descriptions, client communications, photographs, and other relevant documentation.

A follow-up consultation or in-person assessment may be requested when necessary.

The determination of eligibility will consider whether the service was performed in accordance with the agreed scope, whether the reported concern is reasonably attributable to the service, and whether the requested remedy is proportionate to the verified issue.

Claims involving personal preference, changes to previously approved service selections, third-party alterations, improper maintenance, or circumstances unrelated to the original service may be excluded from voluntary credit eligibility.

Younika Beauty will communicate its determination following a reasonable review.

Management may approve, partially approve, or decline a discretionary claim based on the findings.

All determinations remain subject to applicable consumer rights and legal obligations.

11. CORRECTIVE SERVICES AND SERVICE ADJUSTMENTS

When a service concern is validated, Younika Beauty may authorize a corrective appointment, service adjustment, or service credit.

Corrective services are intended to address the verified concern within the scope of the original service agreement.

Corrective work does not automatically include additional styling, upgraded services, increased product quantities, or modifications unrelated to the approved claim.

Any services outside the approved correction may be subject to additional charges, which must be disclosed and accepted before the work begins.

Corrective appointments are subject to professional assessment, service suitability, and appointment availability.

Younika Beauty may decline or postpone corrective work when proceeding could compromise hair integrity, scalp health, client safety, or professional service standards.

When a corrective appointment is not appropriate, an alternative discretionary credit may be considered.

A corrective service or credit will not be represented as a substitute for a legally required remedy unless the client lawfully agrees to that resolution.

12. STORE CREDIT AND SERVICE CREDIT TERMS

Younika Beauty may issue store credit or service credit as a resolution for an approved claim.

Credits are granted only following verification and authorization.

The amount of credit will be determined according to the nature, extent, and circumstances of the approved concern.

Credit conditions

  • Credits are issued only for claims approved by Younika Beauty.

  • Credits are not redeemable for cash.

  • Credits may be applied only toward eligible purchases or services.

  • Credits are assigned to the original client unless otherwise approved.

  • Credits may not be transferred, sold, or exchanged without written authorization.

  • Credits cannot be applied retroactively to completed transactions.

  • Credits cannot exceed the amount authorized through the claim review.

  • Any remaining purchase or service balance must be paid by the client.

  • Credits will be recorded and maintained according to Younika Beauty's administrative procedures.

Approved credits will remain available until redeemed unless a lawful expiration condition has been clearly disclosed and agreed upon.

Younika Beauty will not substitute credit for a refund or other remedy when applicable law requires a different resolution.

13. CONSULTATION AND SERVICE EXPECTATIONS

Younika Beauty provides personalized beauty and wellness services based on individual client needs, professional assessments, and agreed service objectives.

Clients are responsible for communicating their expectations and providing accurate information relevant to the requested service.

Consultations are intended to establish service suitability, discuss anticipated results, identify relevant concerns, and clarify professional recommendations.

Clients acknowledge that service outcomes may depend on individual characteristics, existing hair and scalp conditions, prior treatments, maintenance practices, and other factors beyond Younika Beauty's reasonable control.

A consultation does not constitute a guarantee of a specific result unless expressly documented in writing.

Changes requested after a service has begun may require additional time, products, or charges.

Any material changes to the agreed service must be communicated and approved before proceeding.

Consultation fees are generally nonrefundable once the consultation has been completed, subject to applicable law.

14. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES AND AFTERCARE

Clients are responsible for following reasonable professional aftercare recommendations provided in connection with their services.

Proper maintenance is essential to preserving service results and minimizing avoidable damage or deterioration.

Clients must promptly communicate concerns that arise following a service.

Younika Beauty is not responsible for conditions caused solely by improper maintenance, unauthorized alterations, unsuitable third-party products, or circumstances beyond its reasonable control.

Failure to follow aftercare instructions may affect eligibility for discretionary adjustments when such failure materially contributes to the reported concern.

Clients remain entitled to any protections or remedies provided by applicable law.

15. PAYMENT AUTHORIZATION AND COLLECTION OF FEES

All service prices, deposits, and applicable appointment fees must be disclosed to the client before confirmation of the reservation.

By providing a valid payment method and separately authorizing the applicable fee arrangement, the client agrees that Younika Beauty may process charges consistent with the disclosed terms.

Authorization for a no-show fee must clearly identify the applicable percentage, the circumstances under which the charge may occur, and how previously paid deposits will be applied.

The authorization must be obtained in accordance with applicable payment processing requirements.

Younika Beauty will maintain appropriate transaction and authorization records.

Any outstanding balance may be addressed through lawful collection procedures and may affect eligibility for future reservations.

No fee will be charged in a manner inconsistent with the client's authorization or applicable law.

16. EXCEPTIONAL CIRCUMSTANCES AND MANAGEMENT DISCRETION

Younika Beauty recognizes that certain circumstances may require individualized consideration.

Requests for exceptions to appointment, deposit, cancellation, or credit policies will be reviewed at management's discretion.

The submission of an exception request does not guarantee approval.

Any approved exception applies only to the specific circumstances for which it was granted.

Younika Beauty reserves the right to request reasonable supporting information when necessary to assess an exception.

Management discretion will be exercised consistently with applicable legal requirements and without unlawful discrimination.

17. POLICY ENFORCEMENT AND BUSINESS RIGHTS

Younika Beauty reserves the right to enforce its published policies consistently and professionally.

The business may establish reasonable booking requirements, request advance payment, restrict future reservations, or decline discretionary services when supported by legitimate operational considerations.

Such decisions must comply with applicable consumer protection, nondiscrimination, contractual, and payment authorization requirements.

Clients are expected to provide accurate booking information, maintain respectful communication, and comply with agreed appointment conditions.

Younika Beauty may document policy violations and relevant communications for legitimate administrative and dispute-resolution purposes.

18. POLICY MODIFICATIONS

Younika Beauty reserves the right to review, revise, and update its policies to reflect operational requirements, service changes, regulatory developments, and business practices.

Updated policies will be made available through appropriate official channels.

Unless otherwise required by law or mutually agreed, the terms disclosed and accepted at the time of a transaction will govern that transaction.

Clients are encouraged to review the applicable policies before each new booking or purchase.

19. CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND AGREEMENT

By booking an appointment, submitting a deposit, purchasing merchandise, or receiving a service after being provided with the applicable terms, the client acknowledges receipt of Younika Beauty's policies.

The client understands and accepts the following conditions, subject to applicable law:

  • Completed services and finalized product purchases are generally nonrefundable.

  • Product returns and exchanges are restricted under the final-sale policy.

  • Valid claims may qualify for approved store credit, service credit, or corrective services.

  • Appointment rescheduling requires at least twenty-four (24) hours' advance notice to preserve deposit transfer eligibility.

  • Failure to attend a confirmed appointment may result in a no-show fee equal to fifty percent (50%) of the scheduled service price.

  • Previously paid deposits will be credited toward any applicable no-show fee.

  • A fifteen (15) minute grace period applies to late arrivals.

  • Arrivals exceeding fifteen (15) minutes require rescheduling.

  • Voluntary service dispute and adjustment requests must be submitted within forty-eight (48) hours following service completion.

  • Payment-related charges require appropriate prior authorization.

  • Nothing in this agreement waives rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
